- The Face Caddy was developed to address the multitude of reasons that people need to apply ice and heat to the face. Primarily, migraine and TMJ patients use it on the "trigger points" at the jaw area which can cause migraine and TMJ pain. But so many other people have used it for other purposes, such as:
Oral surgery recovery
(helps pain, swelling and bruising)
Menopause hot flashes
(applying ice therapy to the temple area can bring the body temperature down)
Chemo/radiation effects
(applying ice therapy at the temple can help cool the radiating heat that is a side effect of radiation).
I started this blog to interact with patients, health care providers, and customers on a (kinda) regular basis, and to share information I've found regarding pain treatment.
